As long-time resident of Stanislaus County and avid animal lover, Joe Traina established the Joseph A. Traina & Family Foundation in an effort to reduce the stray animal population and rescue animals in high-kill shelters in and around the Stanislaus County area. The foundation supports local charities who are working towards similar goals by awarding grants, holding fundraising events and assisting with community outreach. Additionally, to broaden the impact of the foundation in the community, we soon hope to put on clinics offering low and no cost spay and neuter services, and vaccinations and to offer grants assisting with the payment of veterinary care for shelter and foster animals who are waiting to find their forever home.
